Sadly, it never has for me.
Maybe because, in the fantasy, you can pause, rewind, and playback. You can even edit.
In the reality, if you blink or aren't paying attention, the moment is gone.

Physically? Rarely.
Mentally? There's far more consistency once one sheds all those grand external expectations. Yes, do look behind the curtain, but don't be surprised if in reality the subject doesn't look quite like the picture on the menu.
