What has "made your day"? Is it memorable? Does it have impact on today only or will it be with you for a long time to come?

Michelle, your answer is touching, and I do believe I can empathize with you. There are no right or less right answers. All I ask for is your answer and this in itself makes it more than "right".
~Every single answer~ has added to my own day. :) Thank you...

In a very "different" sort of way I did experience Happiness- along with sadness. I went to a Celebration of Life-of a friend who died from cancer. There were many tears of sadness, but also so much laughter with the "remember the time...." stories. He will be greatly missed but is in a much better place- really suffered at end. At the funeral-Celebration of Life- they played "Live Like You Were Dying"-Tim McGraw. He did this as long as he was able too, Rode his Harley, played music, spent time with family and friends.
What made my day, was to see how many peoples life he had touched, just by being a really nice guy and friend. The impact will be for a long time- how you treat people is how you will be remembered- that's what I truly learned today- and found happiness that his life was such a great example of kindness.

Yes.
My son and his wife and the grands came over for a while. he helped put a shelf together. My daughter in law wants only a picture of granny, for a memento, which I thought was precious.
My daughter called as they were leaving, just to chat.
I sorted and arranged granny's piano music for the yard sale and kept what I think is precious to me.
I did a lot of other work too, that made me feel good.
I got by with out my last dose of pain killers.
I had a few glasses of some real good iced tea.
My husband asked me to do something, I didn't want to do it, but did anyway. So pleasing him made me happy.
My shower felt so good.
I got through the day without needing a nap.
I am sleepy now, so maybe I can sleep at a decent hour tonight.

No happiness today. Typically I can always come up with something, but not today, although it will be memorable.
I probably shouldn't be attempting to answer this question, but answering usually generates a pleasant feeling and I have appeciated the thoughtfull responses of others.
MY son relapsed. It isn't the first time, but I thought he was making real progress. So much, I dared to hope...
Still, he is getting treatment...still trying....He is hopefulI and it is enough reason to continue my hope,( with sufficently guarded optimism).
Looking back on it, I can be thankful,( if not happy), that I could rise to a very desparate and chaotic occassion and provide the support my son needed.

I actually wasn't feeling well today. I was tired and had to work, so I drank a lot of coffee, but still felt down. Toward the end of the day I listened to some music and I started having memories and feelings, which at least put me in touch with my heart. About the time I heard James Taylor's 'Carolina in My Mind' I felt intense sadness and almost cried, but it was sweet at the same time.

I made two friends today. Even if I never see either of them again, the experience of talking to each of them, despite being brief, enriched me in ways I cannot explain.

When my boyfriend put brakes on my car.
It was his first time doing it, and he did a great job. The car doesn't make that ugly grinding noise no more each time I come to a stop

By watching Dale Earnhardt Jr. blow his engine in the final laps at Richmond today, it was the best part of the race.
