3(2(-3)+1)-2((-3)-6) all divided by -3+6
3(-5)-2(-9) all divided by 3
-15+18 all divided by 3
3 / 3
=1
**** your first two answers are wrong****

All you have to do is plug in -3 in all of the 'x' spots and work your way through. For the numerator the full expression would be 3(2(-3)+1)-2(-3-6)...work your way from inside out.
3(-6+1)-2(-9)= 3(-5)+18=-15+18=3....for your denominator
-3+6=3. In the end you have 3/3 which is 1. I think that is the right answer but you should double check for sure...at least my method is right, hope that helps;)

When you evaluate an expression, you are plugging the value in for each variable. So, you will take -3, and plug that in for each x variable, and solve that problem! :) Here's how to solve this:
3(2(-3)+1)-2(-3-6)/-3+6
3(-6+1)-2(-9)/3
3(-5)+18/3
-15+18/3
3/3=1 Hope this helps.

FIRST, JUST DISTRIBUTE THE NUMERATOR.
6x + 3 - 2x +12 or 4x +15. Then, Substitute -3 for every x, then you get -12 +15 or +3.
The denominator is X + 6 or -3 + 6 = +3
Do not just blindly substitute right away. Note that you only have to substitute -3 once in the numerator and once in the denominator.
N/D = 3/3 or 1.
I hope this was easier to understand and follow

= (3[2x + 1] - 2[x - 6]) / (x + 6)
= (3[2{- 3} + 1] - 2[- 3 - 6]) / (- 3 + 6)
= (3[- 6 + 1] - 2[-9]) / 3
= (3[- 5] + 18) / 3
= (-15 + 18) / 3
= 3/3
= 1

3(2x + 1) -2(x - 6) / x+6
3(2(-3) + 1) -2((-3) - 6) / [(-3) +6]
3(-6 + 1) -2(-3 - 6) / [-3+6]
3 (-5) -2 (-9) / 3
-15 + 18 / 3
3/3 = 1

What you want to do is put -3 in for every x in the equation and solve it like any other math problem like say x = -3 and the equation is x/2 which will give you -3/2. Good luck!
Hope this helps!

3(2x + 1) -2(x - 6)
--------------------------------
x+6
6x + 3 - 2x +12
-----------------------------
x + 6
4x + 15
----------------
x + 6
If x = -3
Substitute -3 for all x then do the necessary operation.
4(-3) + 15
----------------
-3 + 6
-12 +15
---------------
3
3/3
The answer is 1.
Hope I helped you!
