I like punk and alternative rock because I was one of those born and breed with bands like nirvana and nine inch nails so I like my trash metal but it's getting repetive I need to be able to play some nice melodies on guitar as well. Something that we can all relate to. But something nice and easy I don't want to sit there for ten years learning how to play. I am getting a guitar book that will show me how but they haven't got my order in just yet. So any ideas on what I just said?

i'm actually trying to play blackbird by the beatles right now.
but most people i know like to play stairway to heaven by led zeppelin. either way there both pretty melodic
