Sag and Virgo don't go so well - I can speak about that from first hand experience!
Really, though. The 'surface' matter - or the sun sign that a person is known by is really just an outer facade. Some people may possess certain qualities of their sun sign, but will largely be driven by factors and planetary influences in their birth chart.
So, learn what their birth chart says first and then go from there.
