Leaking amniotic fluid means less around the baby, which could mean that you and the baby have a high chance of contracting an infection which would not be a good thing at all. I would still advise going to a free clinic or finding out through your local information centre where there might be a free doctor somewhere. Leaking fluid is not a good thing unless a doct has examined you in the last 10days has told you that it is okay to be this way for an indefinate amount of time.
Lower back pain and pelvic pain could be early labour but also normal end of pregnancy pains too. You really need a doctor to check you over about this one.
if you go to the hospital then ask them all the questions you have about how long you can go on leaking, any consequences this might have for you or baby, if you are dilated at all, if you are contracting, and then you will have peace of mind and not have to go back unless something else or new happens or you go into labour.
Its better to be safe than sorry about your health and the health of the baby.
best of luck

If you think your fluid is leaking out at all, you need to go to the hospital, ASAP. The sac of fluid is what protects the baby from infections, and even a tiny hole in it can let in all sorts of nasty bacteria. Every time you use the toilet, or, heaven forbid, have intercourse after your water has broken, you are essentially forcing this bacteria into your baby's sterile environment.
For your baby's sake, I really hope you aren't being serious about this.
Have you not had any prenatal doctor visits at all? Are you taking prenatal vitamins? Have you been screened for possible STD's, birth defects, or anything?
If you are living in the US, every single state has a program that allows pregnant women and infants to see the doctor and have hospital visits, free of charge. It is extremely irresponsible of you to not utilize these programs. You are putting the life of your baby on the line by not doing so.
Go to the hospital immediately, and tell them what you are experiencing. They will do an internal exam, check the fetal heart rate, and possibly do an ultrasound. If your water has been broken for more than 24 hours without giving birth, they will induce labor or preform a cesarean section to keep the baby from getting sick.
Go now. Waiting until morning could be the difference between life and death for your child.

Go to the hospital right now! Leaking fluids is dangerous for you and the baby. They have programs available at the hospital to cover situations just like this and cannot turn you away.
You might consider just walking up to the labor and delivery ward without checking in and explain the situation to the nurse at the desk. There is a little strip of paper they use to confirm if it is amniotic fluid that is leaking. She may just be willing to give you a couple of strips and leave it at that.
Either way you need to know. If an infection sets in from your waters being broke then it could easily kill both of you...Please take care of yourself and your baby.

If you have been leaking fluid for that long you need to call a doctor or go to the ER ASAP. If the fluid gets too low the baby wont be able to move around or breathe so you need to get medical help ASAP to make sure your baby is alright. Why don't you have a doctor? Have you received any prenatal care during your pregnancy?? If you can't afford to go to the hospital and get it checked out, how are you going to be able to afford the hospital cost to actually give birth?? Your looking at over $20,000.

Once the water breaks you and the baby are at great risk of infection - you do not want this to happen. You have already prolonged the baby's stay because he/she will require antibiotics.
Do you have a doctor, or anyone with any knowledge of pregnancy?
Go NOW, and you will probably get induced.

So where r u having this baby? At home?
I doubt it's your water leaking. Most likely it's urine caused from pressure of the baby.
You have a right to be treated at the hospital if you are ill....even if you can't pay.
Not sure why you're asking us.

Go to the ER. I know that you don't want to, but they can make payment schedules. Don't think that you are the only one without insurance and in need of medical attention.
