I love the Die Hard Series... It's one of those movies that once you start watching you get hooked and end up staying to see the whole thing even though you watched it 10x already.
The last Die Hard was the best one yet!

Die Hard. The whole series is awesome!
The Lord of the Rings series also comes under Action Genre, and is the highest rated series in that genre.
The Matrix is arguably the best action movie ever made, but only the first one. The Matrix 2 and 3 were average at best.
