How was it changed to suit where it was played? For example in the references and stuff? Any good websites that could tell me this?

The commedia used stock routines wherever it went, usually as a touring troupe of performers. These routines were called "lazzi," and often they could be adapted to include references to the local characters, the town or the current events of the area. When I used to perform in a dinner theatre, there was a comedy club underneath us. Every week new comics would come in and ask us things like "what is the town everyone uses to make fun of someone" and we'd say "Waxhaw." Then later in the week when someone would make a lame attempt to heckle the guy, he'd say something like "What are you? from Waxhaw or something?" Things like that can be adapted as the comic goes from town to town. Same with commedia

just search Commedia Dell'arte, but the way they did that is that they improvised the dialogue from an action scenario that was posted backstage so they could look at it and see where they were in the story.. When they went from place to place they picked up on the local gossip and worked in into their improvised dialogue

no longer realism, it fairly is for helpful. the suitable thank you to describe it extremely is comedy...and Clown. this is an exceedingly actual form of theater and somewhat a number of the characters are 'inventory characters'. most of the characters wore mask and had a signature way of shifting or conversing or status. examine out the Wiki website. wish this helped. I purely presently improve into in a Commedia style play. somewhat some exciting.
