Positive means yes you're pregnant. Negative means no you're not. Sounds like you're wanting a negative!! Just remember that while they can be faulty, the fault tends to be a false negative... meaning that you're not producing enough hormones to show positive yet, so if in doubt, test again. However, this time, may I suggest that you read the instructions?

I think you need to read the packet before taking a test.
The obvious answer is Postive (yes) = Pregnant
Negative (no)= not pregnant.
