Consider this:
"You affect the world by what you browse."
-- Tim Berners-Lee, English Inventor of the World Wide Web

Is this so? If it is, how are you affecting our world?
Is this NOT so? Then why not?

i would say yes its so, what you browse will influence what you learn, how you grow/change as an individual, we are constantly creating /becoming who we are, and who we are is what we have to offer to the world
also our use and support of certain sites encourages them to remain and develop and for other similar sites to be made

unlike having to go to a library or skim over books in a bookstore, we can quickly look up topics of interest, and often get presented other topics while we are doing it, that we never would of thought to have an interest in,

i would say i affect the world by being myself, interacting in it, offerring the knowledge and help that i have to give,
and i guess my most significant web related (just browsing researching) info i have been able to offer is direct student loan consolidation offered by the Dept of Ed. its free and easy, and the best solution for many former students, loan holders do not give this info out, nor do collection agencies for them, and it resolves student loan payment problems for many
