I have had Hughesnet satellite internet for about eight months. My browsing experience is rather good. Downloading small files, such as music, is a breeze. But when I try to download files over 60 megabytes, my connection slows majorly down. The download stops and my internet is too slow to use, or doesn't work at all for 1-2 days.

And if it helps, the same problem occurs when I try to download with Xbox Live.

Any suggestions. Please keep in mind that I'm not an expert on anything dealing with the internet.

Thank you so much.
