i'm currently a full-time student, but i'm thinking about changing to part-time. i was just wondering what the minimum credits are for part-time. right now i have 15 credits. i heard that a full-time student has about 12-16 credits a semester and a part-time student has 9-12 credits. is this the same for most schools?

Anything under 12 would be considered part-time at most schools. You could have three units, or even less, at some points.

Anything under 12 is part time, however you should really think hard before going down to part-time, you get last choice of classes at most colleges once you are part time, try just taking 12 units next semester.
