(11.5 meters/1^2 second^2)(1 kilometer/1000 meters) = 0.0115 kilometers/second^2
(0.0115 kilometers/1^2 second^2)(60^2 second^2/1^2 minute^2) = 41.4 kilometers/minute^2
(41.4 kilometers/1^2 minute^2)(60^2 minutes^2/1^2 hours^2) = 149,040 kilometers/hour^2
You could do this in one long string of unit fractions, but it is difficult to fit that into the text box provide here.

0-60 ten seconds longer for the Porsche than the Beemer? Not so. You might have to re-read your source of information on this one. It might have been 0.6 seconds longer, but this is splitting hairs. Also, one rarely drives with his foot through the firewall, trying to complete drag races on the freeway with other cars. Good sports car drivers just do not perform these juvenile antics. They save them for autocross or other off-the-road events. You might want to try the Cayman-S, rather than the Cayman. It has more HP and features. After you look at the speed issues, check out the depreciation, insurance costs (the Porsche might cost more since it is a real "Sports Car"), gas mileage, yearly maintenance costs, etc. If you have to haul a family, choose the BMW. Both cars are very good quality-wise, but you have to think about what you will use the car for. If I were buying a family-oriented car, I would think about the BMW. The Porsche has room for one passenger...period! The BMW has room for the driver and three people (i.e., do you have kids, or do you have the need for a back seat to stuff your "stuff" into. Options: Get cruise control, power mirrors and windows (the Cayman S offers lumbar seat support...I don't know if it is an option, but it is available), and see if the radio system offers iPod and/or satellite radio. If I was single and wanting a "chick-magnet" I would choose the Cayman S. Hint: Porsche introduced the Cayman in 2005, and there are used ones for sale in the $40,000-$50,000 range. Check with Craigslist, Hemmings, Porsche Club of America, Autotrader etc. Make sure you get a Professional Pre-Purchase Inspection from a competent Porsche shop before you buy the car. Cost should be no more than $200, but they will tell you of any bad stuff you need to be aware of before you buy the car, then you can use that information when you negotiate the price. Whichever car you choose, don't buy a black one, or you will be a wash and wax slave. Black cars do not sell as well as other colors. White is the best-selling color, followed by silver. Red is nice, especially on a Cayman, IMO. You might want to buy some magazines that have info on both cars. It takes at least a week or two to find and digest the information you need to pick out the right car for you (at least, this my experience). You must really list on paper what you want, then do the research, otherwise you will buy a car, hate it, then want to sell it at a loss. You also should try to talk to people who own these cars and find out what you don't like about them. I have gotten a ton of information from people at adjacent gas pumps at Costco. And, above all, be patient...don't be in a hurry.

1 km = 1000 meters
1 hr = 3600 seconds
Is your calculator broken? If it is, there's one in Windows that will work just fine ☺
