Is there a solo piano adapation for Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 1 Op.15 and if there is (I know there is one for 2 pianos), which is rhe best.

Yes. Just go to Google.com and enter "Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 1 Op.15 for solo piano" and hit search. Several to choose from.

I am not aware of a solo piano adaptation. It's a pretty thickly scored piece, and would be difficult to arrange as a solo.

Having said that, Otto Singer did a number of arrangements of his symphonies, both for duo piano and for solo -- but I think you would have to regard the solo arrangements as study scores rather than performance material. He did the same for Beethoven's symphonies.

Brahms himself made an arrangement for 1 piano 4 hands, as well as the 2 piano version.
