My Sims 2 game got me thinking.

Although they are just virtual characters, do you think they are real in a way? Not real like you and me, but do you think they can "feel" and "think" , etc?

When you delete Sims or Neighborhoods do you think they are just GONE or do they go into some inaccessible computer file or something?

Is it possible our actions are controlled just like the Sims' actions?

Does god see us like we see the Sims characters?

The Sims game does seem rather pointless because there is not much for them to accomplish, and their lives are limited. Is real life the same way too?

Thank you for thinking about my simolosophical questions. :)

They are sort of like cattle, aren't they?

We, on the other hand, have advanced mental capacities like reason, will power and imagination. That makes life a heck of a lot more enjoyable to live!

For all your questions, I say, your guess is as good as mine. There really is no way to know exactly, much less offer proofs that would satisfy how you want your questions to be answered. If I did try, I'm sure you wouldn't like my answers.

I have two questions for you, though. This might help answer the millennium-old question "Why did God create us?" One is, "Why did you create those Sim characters and neighborhoods?" Next one, "What fun are you having by creating those characters and neighborhoods?" At least, I think, these questions have sure-fire answers from you.

See, that's why I don't play Sims games. Get you thinking too much. My friends are completely addicted to them. I played one once and it depressed me. With the click of a button I could kill somebody and screw up someone else's (simulated) life forever. I didn't like that.

I don't know if God sees us the same way, but I sure as heck hope not. 0.o

you can think of it that way, but it's pretty sad to consider that we are being "simulated" the way sims are. as for me, well...our lives may be limited but we have so much we can accomplish. it's just a matter of stepping out of our comfort zones and doing them.
