I consider myself smart. I have an MBA and am working on a PHD in Theology. My sister was considered the "smart" one. She went right on in with both feet and became a Dr. All hail and praise to her on the holidays. No matter how much the others of us continue to work on our education we will never, ever, never, ever match up to the "smart" one. The Dr. I was actually told that when I get my doctorate in Theology it won't really be a Dr. Yes it will!!!! Maybe I won't operate on people but I can help them in another way. I do still love and respect my sister. I just dislike the fuss they make over her alone. They seem to forget they have 5 other college educated children.

I consider myself smart considering I have an IQ of 132 but I didn't need any degrees or majors to get this way. All through my life I watched other people and events and learned from them and I also taught myself how to do things. The way of life is living, learning and doing. I was always a fast learner and I retained what I have learned. People come to me for answers because they know that I will have one. The best degree or major you can get is self taught.

Yes. I'm the smart one. My major was Business Administration. I only went to college for three years. I worked selling options contracts on commodities while living in Hawaii. I retired at the age of 41. Now, I spend most of my time with my kids, at the gym, or travelling to interesting destinations. I also enjoy answering questions on Y/A when my kids are with their friends.

when I was in school, yes, and it was always a huge pain in the áss and made me very miserable. I was promoted a grade when I entered school and always ended up the smallest, smartest and most socially maladjusted weirdo in class. I hated school so much that after I graduated (at 16) there was NO WAY I'd even THINK about college no matter what anyone said and I didn't go, either, for about the next 12 years. I wouldn't recommend it for everyone, but as for me I have no regrets at all, I've done a lot of things a lot of people only dream about and came out just fine.

In my family, I am the smart one.
I am the only one to have graduated from a "traditional" high school so far.
I am the only one with a college degree so far (Elementary Education).
How do I stack up against the general population??
I think I am fairly smart, but there is definitely room for more education here.

I've majored in different things on different years. One year, I majored in Science. Then another year was Math. And then another year was Science, Math, Social Studies, and English/Language Arts.
I guess I'm the smart one.
But I know I'm not the only one. ; )
How about you?
