Neither are totally awful. Just pick your fights. Also make sure to have good stuff to cuss people off with.

It's all part of self respect, and a respect for others.
Cussing and flicking people off all the time is trashy, and makes you look way more immature than the people who do neither. There is really no point of going out of your way to say something hateful to someone else.

Yes, all words and actions have meaning. You may not see it, but they do. Cuss words are not "just other words," because if they were, they would not be called "cuss words."
Besides, if they are "just any other word," then why say it? You might at well say something else that has a meaning you want to be remembered for in a positive aspect.

In my opinion,
You should consider going to church, it looks like you would really benefit from it.
"Do unto others as you would have them do to you". Luke 6:31
Hopefully this makes some sort of sense to you.

Because its rude and offensive. How does it make you feel if somebody calls you a stupid little ____ and flips you off? Good? Do you get a warm fuzzy? Its just words that dont mean anything, right? If you go around cussing all out loud, making sure everybody around you hears, especially when you're a kid, it just makes you look like a stupid spoiled little twit who thinks it makes her seem cool and grown up. I bet you make sure somebody is looking before you do the cool spit thing too.

Cuss words actually do have meanings, by the way. Usually, they have very vulgar and obscene meanings, and most people don't like to hear them.

Flicking someone off usually is saying that you want them to go to hell or something along that line, and most people find that offensive.

Words are important because that is how we communicate with each other.Words can have a deep impact on us .Our words can offer hope, support ,respect ,knowledge and solutions. Our words can also be cruel, derogatory, spread hate and ignorance.Every word we speak leaves an impression upon the person at whom they are directed. Why would someone choose to use words that are cruel towards another? Why would someone flip someone off or use rude hand gestures? What kind of impression do you leave on the heart of those you meet......fingerprints or footprints? Words are tools....it is a wise person who can use them effectively.

I guess cuz now they hav turned into something bad so thats why it matters to ppl. plus the meaning of flipping someone off? why would you want to stick up your middle finger in the first place? Same with the words why do you want to say them in the first place? they are given a meaning so thats why it is considered bad.

Well, why does the word "orange" mean that orange colored fruit? As a matter of fact, why do these strange letters mean anything at all?
It's just language. And it's a way of insulting people. That's why it's wrong.

Because of the meaning behind them.

And if you cuss way too much you don't sound very smart.
And personally I don't like the middle finger gesture, but that's just me

Words are not just words. You may call a person "a worthless piece of filth who's life isn't worth living" instead of calling him/her a d**k or c**t, but both sting just as bad.
