It's not just about breaking the teamster union, but that is part of it. I am a non-union truck driver and I can tell you that driving a truck is one of the few jobs left in this country where a person can make enough money to live the american dream without having a college education. Once all of those jobsare gone, they will be coming after your job.

The goal is a two-tiered society....they are the ruling class and we are the servant class.

As for the safety of Mexican trucks and their drivers, they are definitely unsafe. They come into a 25 mile zone in border cities so I drive next to them and pick up and deliver in the same locations.

They steal parts from our trucks and trailers because they don't have them and don't make enough to buy them. They drive like idiots (like some american truck drivers) and have the luxury of being able to flee the scene of a collision where your family ends up dead and they sneak back into Mexico without any consequence.

Also, if they have no respect for the laws controlling entry into this country what makes anyone think that they will show any regard for laws controlling hours of service an american truck driver has to abide by. Those laws are there to help prevent accidents involving overworked truck drivers.

Add to that, that Mexico plays a huge role in the flow of illegal drugs into this country. They will not search every truck coming into this country from Mexico and the corrupt mexican government knows it. Bush is making drug and people smuggling even easier. What a moron!!

Its all part of the New World Order or Globalisation and Harmonisation as they call it now. They want one world bank, one world govt and one world military. The World bank and the IMF lend money to the govts on the understanding that the money to pay back the interest comes from taxes from the people. Then the big corporations move in and steal the countries resources, so they get rich and the people stay poor paying off a debt they can never repay.

They already have the European Union and the African Union and the North American union is next

2 years in the past a Mexican truck driving force in the San Diego area killed 2 little ones and their grandparents who have been there on trip from the east coast. The CHP suggested it replaced right into a defective truck no longer the drivers fault. So no arrest replaced into made however the force and truck disappeared around the Mexican border never to be seen lower back and No recourse for the kinfolk.

Why wouldn't they is more like it? This Administration has proven time and time again that corporate profit matters over American life. The difference between what he says and what he actually does is so far off, I do not see how he has any support left.

Because it would mean increased profits for someone who supports him, and if a few little people get killed on the the highway, that just too bad.

Where are your stats showing the danger? Do you have any data to back up your claim? There are Canadian truck drivers all over our roads and have been for years.
