Most of the time I don't notice if I got a thumbs up, but when I do I just smile cause it shows that someone liked my input on the question. :-)

honestly, i don't really notice whether i get thumbs up or down...i do like to imagine, though, that when i star a question or 'thumb up' an answer, i'm making someone else feel better-that's my intent, anyway
