Depends. There are people who can be a good influence, and people who can be a bad influence. I make the choice on who I want to be influenced by.

Nope never have..
As a child I did listen to my parents, while under their roof as that was their home and I obeyed the house rules..well almost always lol
As an adult ..
If I need some advice I will either ask them (my parents or my best gf) they are the only ones I would trust with my life.. so I know their advice would be worthwhile listening to..

I am a good listener and I will take advice if given, but in the end nobody can tell me what I can or cannot do.. as I have always been a free spirit and always did my own thing...I do hope I have made good judgements .. so far I think I have... :)

You usually will try not to be influenced by people in a negative way, but sometimes...it just happens and you're not even aware of it. But, being influenced by people in a positive way, that can be good, but you don't want to be made a clone.
I try not to let people influence me at all, although I'm not always successful. I want to make my own choices, have my own views without another persons influence.

I Always prided myself on the fact that I never let friends or family influence what I liked or didn't like. HOWEVER, When it came to friendships I would open myself up to share the things they enjoyed. It wasn't they were influencing me, I was being a friend. I found I enjoyed a lot of things I didn't think I would like had I been so closed minded.

Yes I do. Because I count on them, they exist and might be to respect them and treasure or, after deception, not trust them= those we know enough to say it. Others we treasure more than we can express but not saying it might be opportune or not - for themselves.
What's influence? Anyone believes in alienation as being the same of influence? If we are not indifferent yes we are influenced

there is no way to keep yourself from being influenced, cause and effect, one way another everyone we come into contact with influences us, i mean just trying not to be influenced shows they do, when you consider that everyone trys to naturally trys to interact with others, which involves changing the way you act or even think to fit in.

Nope. I watched this all through school. Groups upon groups, following trend after trend, all weak by another's decision, all blind to imagination and leadership. Do as you are told, where what is cool, do this to be cool or you are a loser. Humans copy humans, humans copy animals.
Well, guess what? I was a loser. But I am an original. I follow no human. I didn't do trends, parties, get high or drunk, do something wild to fit in.
I am my own person, a rare and one of a kind and that's what makes me cool.

I don't think anyone has an actual choice if they want to be influenced by a particulary person. Something we just can't control, I guess.

Of course, we're all persuaded by others all the time. If you're asking is I simply follow without thinking then, no. For areas where others are trying to persuade me, I listen, discern, reason and then either choose the best argument or reject all arguments.

No. Bad move. The second you hand your Brain over to someone who claims to know what they're doing- You end up with a "Decider" like Bush, who'll sell it down the River. Think for YOURSELF- don't let someone else do it for you... :)
