You just need to think about what organisms have that help them survive. You might think of them in categories: adaptations for getting food, opening or eating food, hiding from predators, attracting mates, making nests or shelters, etc. Or you might approach the topic by coming up with adaptations for one species at a time. Either way, you can write most of this straight from what you already know about the plants, animals, fungi, bacteria, and protists in your own area.
