I've been using it for about two years now. It has helped a lot but it won't necessarily cure your acne. Mine was pretty bad and part of the reason it may be better is because I'm older now (22) Although I do have to admit my skin feel really nice and smooth after I use it. It doesn't feel dry or oily after like after you use some other products. Out of the other over the counter products, this one is the only one I've stuck with longest.
But, it is on the expensive side so thats a definite negative, but I think they still may do that thing where you try it for X number of weeks and if you don't like it you can get a refund.
My mother still likes to tell me that it helped even out my skin tone from past acne breakouts, whether this is true or not I have no idea. If you're just gonna try it I would make sure to use it every day, because it doesn't work so well if you don't. At least with me, if I forget to use it too much I tend to break out a little more.
Hope this helps!

my opinion= DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$$$. Take that $$$ and go see a Dermatologist and get on the correct meds for acne. My teen son had acne....fairly bad. His half sister bought the whole ProActive line and it was a waste of her good $$$. I took him to a Dermatologist and in one year and 3 visits to the MD, his skin is clear and he has NOT ONE SCAR. He had to be on an antibiotic specifically for acne and a special scrub for his face and back and some benzol peroxide skin pads that remove some of the skin layer to rid the blackheads (which are only oil that is trapped in the skin follicles).

For me it didn't. In fact, drug store products work better on my skin. But my aunt uses it and thinks it's a miracle creme. If I were you, I'd buy a month supply, just to see if it works. You can get good deals at QVC.com, and if it doesn't work try clean and clear or neutrogena. Hope I helped. Good luck.

it has different effects on people, (it will work on one person, and have no effect on the other.) i think that it's terrific. you should probably try it before buying.
