Yes I am close to my siblings as we once were. I only wished we lived closer instead of different States.

No I am not as close to my siblings as I once was. There are six of us and we all got college degrees. Four Masters and Two Doctorates. Our jobs have taken us all over the world. I was US Army and traveled far and wide. My youngest sis is a Dr in Scotland. All of us are very spread out and very out of touch. I wish there were a way we could get back to the old "us" but my parents divorced and it seems a lot of lines of patriotism have been drawn and have hurt everyone. I'll still keep clicking away at it. All one can do is try. Family is the backbone to American society.

i'm closer to them now. my little brother was 6 when i left home so we weren't close. my other brother and i were close as kids but drifted apart as teens.
when the "baby" went to iraq, we e-mailed each other every day until he got home. we got pretty close. had a little family reunion after he got back.
i'd love to see them more often, but one is on the west coast, one is on the east coast and i'm in the middle.

I'm very lucky to have a wonderful relationship with my sibs. We aren't in each others' pockets, but I know they're always there for me, and vice versa.

I wish I saw them more often, but we're scattered across the country. (*shrug*) Oh well.

I'm actually closer to my brother now that we're in our 50's than I was when we were younger.
