No matter how you feel about President Bush (I am no fan myself), can we all agree that this guy did something incredibly stupid, and that if he had been killed, it would have been totally his fault???

supertaters... you need to calm down. I wasn't talking about Bush's death; I was talking about the death of the idiot the story is about.
So try reading before you respond.

I have followed this story all week because The Chasers War on Everything is one my favorite programs and every week they do some provocative they target everyone not just Bush.
APEC was a blessing for in disguise for them (pardon the pun) and as they said lucky they weren't Al-Queda or Osama and they never expected to get so far wearing badges that said we are Insecurity and APEC is a joke.
By the way I wouldn't be calling us morons after all the gaffs your leader made over here.
Oh well at least we have a sense of humour.
Sorry I didnt mean you I meant Patriotglib I meant to type his name first.

Australians are not accustomed to having a walled off city with snipers on the roofs for a visit by a US President.
10 years ago this type of security would have been unthinkable even here in the US.
I really have to wonder at our acceptance of these types of security measures. Sometimes I wonder if we would recognize our own country if we read current news articles back in the past - we would have scoffed at anyone who suggested it.

Wrong. It would have been the police fault for allowing them in to the restricted zone.
"In a statement late on Thursday, the producers of the show said they did not know they had entered the restricted zone and had gone down central Macquarie Street with the permission of police."
Free citizens in a free country who were allowed to be there by the police would be at fault if they would have been shot? You're wrong.

I'm certain that if anything would have happened it would have been entirely blamed on Bush. Stupid, I dont' know, dangerous, yes! Of course the police chief is all worked up over this, shows how much of a worthless security professional he is.

No, we cannot all agree.
Bush is a great man.
He is not affected by the liberal media telling everyone he sucks. He stays the course...the CORRECT course.
And even if I did totally despise him, I would know him ever dying would not be his fault.
