Is pernod a homosexual drink?

I like aniseed generally,and really like this drink but I dont know of any other hetrosexual men who do. I"m concerned that people will think I"m gay if I admit to liking this. I am worried about drinking this when i"m with other people and so i stick with beer.

No. Drink whatever you want. Don't worry what simple-minded people might think. I'm straight but I've been known to go to the bar on a Sunday afternoon and have a beer and watch the football game. I couldn't care less if someone thought I was a lesbian. There are no drinks that are exclusive to heterosexual or homosexual people. The people who think that straight men only drink beer and gay men only drink pink drinks with little umbrellas in them are stupid.

You're NOT going to like my response because I'm gay and I like absinthe--which is about as close to "pernod" as you can get--just add wormwood! But seriously, it is a drink which I presume is enjoyed by straight folk as well--I hardly see the gay population being able to sustain the likes of an entire alcoholic industry! The Greeks have their "ouzo" which is an anise-flavored apertif which is practically identical to "anisette" and pernod--and despite the referrence to "Greek love" as a by word for gay activity--all Greeks could not possibly be gay, but a good number of them love their ouzo none the less.

Drink what you enjoy and if others don't like it, then to heck with them--be different--be yourself. And if that isn't good enough for them, then lean over and give your buddy a kiss right on the mouth---just kidding! LOL

Gads, No! Even genuine Sasquatch enjoy the stuff. Personally, I enjoy a shot or two in a cheap beer to improve the flavor (of the cheap beer).

Now a Tequila Sunrise is another story. But I like them too! Kidding!

Don't gay folk also drink whiskey, bourbon and other 'manly' drinks - same as everyone else? Whats next? Enjoying quiche makes one gay???

If folk perceive you as something you are not, that's their problem, not yours. They don't know you well enough to judge you and need to get over their own inadequacies and fears.

Definitely I think you may have failed to mention a few other details about yourself. That's exactly how my best male friend found out he was gay. Pernod is what you drink to tell others you are "cruising"

what on earth is a "homosexual" drink? if you like it, drink it! who cares what anyone thinks. has anyone actually told you they think it's a "homosexual" drink? if so, then they are just a bunch of shallow bigots and you're better off without them as friends.
I'm a lesbian and I like my light beer, but I also like zinfandel, peisporter and all kinds of mixed drinks. no one has ever told me any of them were "homosexual" drinks!
