you may need to change the plugs in it,usually when they start getting bad they wont act up too bad under normal idle but when the air is on and its n a strain it will cause a mis-fire,you can also have this one scanned to see if it shows up on a scanner,it will tell you what cylinders its miss-firing in ,this may help with repairing it,if i was working on it,that would be what i would do first get it scanned,it could also be a sensor causing this to happen,good luck with it.

I would check the IAC valve, sounds like it could be clogged up. The IAC controls your idle but normally it would be a constant problem not just with the AC
