my dads car needs an air bag for his honda accord 97and i found a good price for it butit came off a 94 does it fit?

yes it can but you need to change the plug .

Well the air bag could work but not sure about the mounting issues you might face. An air bag isnt something an end user should try to replace because of a couple of things and the most important one is if it blew do to an accident is everything else fixed so it wont blow again. Also Honda had a recall an air bags somewhere in those year models so deffinatly check on that

Don't play around with the Air Bag System. The bag could deploy and you could get hurt.
Salvage parts are often missing the Key part that makes them work. They have Gold in them and it is taken away.
Only use the RIGHT parts for your car and in this case, only qualified people should be doing this work.
There are DANGERS involved.

Do NOT do this unless the part numbers are an EXACT match. Installing an incorrect component of an airbag system can have deadly results. You will be far safer to drive without an airbag vs having an improper unit inches away from your face.

I would stick with the stock kind. It mite blow while driving but u can stop by at the dealer and ask. Wont hurt.

i dont know about your area but they arew not hard to do.
