Obviously you've never heard some of them tune up. But dogs are usually definite about what they want to say and forthright in saying it.

It's funny you ask that, because I have thought about how our female German Shepperd Dog barks in a deep voice [men tend to have deeper voices than females - with the exception of Michael Jackson]...and I always call our dog a ''he'' instead of a she because her bark sounds more like a male bark than a female bark. I think it is not the sex of the dog that deciphers
the pitch of the bark..the bigger the dog, the deeper the bark...the smaller the dog, the higher their pitch.
