Dress like yourself. If you dress as punk or skaterish, chances are you'll likely mold in with the crowd. Keep in mind that the fans are there for the show. Some of the fans around look around and talk to you in short.
Chances are some of the other concert goers around you will try to make some chatter with you as will your friends, but for the most part it will be to loud to try and sustain much of a conversation, especially if it's a small rock venue.
So it seems like you are the kind of person that would easily blend into the kind of rock concert you are going to. And be one of the many crowd members and sing loud note to all of the songs you know, and have a good time.
Suggestions: Prepare for LOUD music, you may think you've heard LOUD, but you haven't been to a live show. I went to an Audioslave concert a few years ago at the Patriot Center in northern VA. I was sitting to the right of the stage a few sections back from the speaker.
Between those hard rockin, heavy riffs, good drum beats Tom Morello's crazy off the wall live solos, and Chris Cornell wailing away at the mic, I left the show with a slight temperorary loss of hearing in my right ear, to go along with the fact that I could speak much, trying to sing along and talk during the show (which is more like shouting than talking).
It was all worth it though...

Wear your favorite, best pair of jeans, a comfy but cool-looking pair of shoes (my favs for concerts are Converse or Vans), and a cute top.
As per the top, there are several different options. The ideal concert top is short sleeves to help keep you cool (it gets hot in that big crowd!) and not too cleavage-exposing because if you're jumping around a lot, well, you don't want something to accidentally show. A word of advice: DON'T wear the band's t-shirt to their concert. This is and always will be tacky.
To accessorize, try a touch of black eyeliner and maybe some stack bracelets. Pretty simple and chic.
Have fun! My friend saw 3DG live a few weeks ago and she said it was awesome.

Punk/ skaterish sounds good. Just wear what you'd normally wear and amp it up a bit with the accessories. And since rock concerts (in my country) tend to get rowdy, I'd go in something I can run in when things start to get hairy. Ditch the stilettos, wear the sneaks.

Worn out looking blue jeans, arm cuffs or simple black bracelet and necklace. Small spikes can work, but may be over doing it. Don't wear a BB shirt, wear another band similar if you dare, but youre best bet is something black or punk/rocker looking. I usually wear one of my shirts that has some witty comment on it. A cool graphic design works too. Be natural, sont sweat it. As long as you don't look like a prep, no one will hurt you.

Just dress comfortable. Wear comfortable shoes. No one dresses up for concerts, unless it's at a club, but just go casual. No need to get fancy. Just jeans & a t shirt is fine. Have fun!!!~~~

Take these factors into consideration:
How big is the venue? Is it outdoors? Will there be any elbow room? Is it general admission?
Dress comfortably. A rockin' audience can generate a lot of ambient body heat, so cooler is probably better. Loose clothing will work better if you're going to be dancing.

Dress comfortably - wear comfortable shoes too. I would avoid any spikes, only because in today's day and age - they can consider them weapons and confiscate them, or deny you admission.
BTW - NEVER wear the shirt of the band you're going to see. That's geeky.
