Do you find the People on YAHOO to be weird? Since you can't put a face with the name. Added to that the kinds of answers you might get sometimes. And question you might get sometimes. Me included I'm sure. In general do you find the people on YAHOO. . .odd? Have you ever just typed up random questions and looked up some of the stuff people ask and answer on here?

I wouldn't say weird. Just different. Everyone's different. Sometimes that's a good thing. 'Cause if everybody was the same that would just be sucky and boring. People on here who DO give somewhat "weird" or odd answers or ask weird questions most likely do it intentionally. Yah,

Who knows? How in the world could you even define 'weird'? Since Yahoo! Answers draws such a wide demographic, that is, the people on here are from all over the place, they are all ages, etc., etc., I guess we could all call others weird and they could call us weird...I find some of the questions and answers to be a waste of time, or silly or offensive -- so I ignore those. I also find some questions to be very interesting -- I've even found some questions that have woken up a sleeping dragon in me! I started to think about things I never gave a thought to before! How can you really knock that? It's a pretty innocuous pastime when you think about it -- I'd like to think my answers have provoked others to think about a subject they may not have thought of -- I'd like to think I've helped some people with some problems or made them feel better about themselves in some way. I'd like to think that a kind answer here and there has been the boost someone needed to get them out of a dark place. Weird? Yeah, maybe, but for the most part -- "Good" Weird!

I think people here are as they are every where.What makes them look different is that on Yahoo,we have a conglomeration of many nationalities,societies,educational back grounds,racial groups and what not.One more but most interesting thing.Ask a person a question and hear his answer.Now ask him to write the answer to the same question.See the vast difference and tell me why?It's same on Yahoo.People write some thing and may mean a different thing.

The people on Yahoo represent a cross-section of the world wide community. So, we come in all shapes, colours, intellects etc. You have a choice as to which questions you respond to and rating gives you the power to make your opinion of the responses known. So, what do you think of my response? Am I weird or what?

No, the people on Yahoo aren't wierd. Yes sometimes people ask strange questions, and people can sometimes get rude on Yahoo

Some of the people in here are a little weird depending on your definition but their is always room for differences. It would be a very boring life if you never ran into a person who differed from you.

I think they aren't weird enough. I wouldn't want totally random answers but I think having a variety of answers is a good thing as you should really think about the answer you get instead of just blindly following the majority.

Well sinnce I am under the opinion that the whole world is messed up and I am the only sane one then I know others are weird. but yes why do people ask questions they can easly google like history or math?

I think a lot of times people just say things because they think it is funny or sometimes people need to just vent. The names some give them self are quite weird but I think it is just an attention getter.

I like chicken in my chocolate milk because behind me is an otter with a bat, a skunk with a shotgun, a dolphin with a trident, and a wolf with a whip and if I do one more thing to get out of line they'll spank me with a box of Cocoa Puffs.
