I submitted several ? about my truck and recieved some ansewers, fortunately I did not follow any of the advice I got responses for, because you all were wrong and would have cost me alot more than the $8.35 I spent to get it fixed. Mechanics being new ones or old school should not be giving out the advice they are when they do not know what they are talking about

It is certainly up to you whether you take the advice you get on here. Usually when you dont get a good answer it's because you didn't ask a good question. After all...you get what you pay for here>

joe thats why there are dealerships, private shops, and backyard mechanics. it appears that you got what you paid for....nothing.
but i do agree...if you have no clue you shouldnt answer. i try not to answer unless i have personal experience or have seen it done in the dealership or other shops i have been in/worked in.
