Yes it does, very much. I think they need to enforce laws against it, like they did with drunk driving, and come up with a DWC (Driving With Cellphone) or a DWT (Driving While Texting) and really do something to hurt their license. Appearently the one that is already in force is not working well enough.
Maybe, with a law more intense, people will start using cell phones more respectfully on the road, pulling over to make or take a call. I understand it is not always possible to do that while driving either, but you can pull over at your leisure to make a call. To take one, well isn't that what voice mail is for?
I really feel there should be more vigilance on the road with this too. It is almost like watching out for drunks these days and people need to realize this and be more careful driving.
Best Wishes,
Eve

Uhmn.... It can be just you. I have not obvious anyone talk on top of their auto at the same time driving on their mobilephone and by some means driving. If I did then the physics defying idiot savant would possibly bother me. What bugs me is persons who are bad DRIVERS they usually think it's ok to make use of their cellphone even as riding. At least be a excellent driver in the first position after which make sure you might be still a good driver if you are making use of your telephone. Most men and women cannot power and speak at the same time so what you're by is predictable.

It totally annoys me! They aren't paying attention, swerving around, not minding their speed. They need to just pull over to take/make a call.
And yet...I still drive while on my cell phone. But then again I'm a much better driver than most of those people.

Absolutely! They should be made not to work inside of cars somehow. I hate to stereotype, but I see more teenage girls on them driving...than teenage girls driving without talking on them! But I won't pick on just teenage girls...far too many people are on them in general when driving! I love watching the smoker talk on the cell phone while driving....I make sure I get out of his/her way though!

yes it does!! I feel unsafe, as I see my brother focus all his attention on the ******* phone instead of the road!! I never talk while I drive, simply because I dont have a cell phone!! but I abhor that they take their concentration off the road.

Unless it is a hands-free device, Yes.
Everyone tends to be less observant and react slower.
It makes veteran experienced drivers, drive like teenagers who just got their license. Really kind of embarrassing.
Because of this, I never ever take calls while driving.

Well, BMW has bluetooth technology therefore the speakers of the stereo system act as your speakers and you speak thru a mic built into the roof of the vehicle. So how can you tell if they are on a live call? As they are not holding anything and hands are usually on the steering wheel?
