No it's a good question. Certainly if your British, nobody ever really seems to watch any TV in their TV worlds, particularly soaps which are meant to be a reflection of true life. The Brits are as a whole a 'telly loving' nation.
Problem being of course is that it wouldn't be too interesting to watch people in soaps, watching... well soaps I suppose.

Watching people actually watching TV....... on TV? I don't want to burst your particular fantasy bubble, but I'm pretty glad they don't!
Be a bit more than boring. Bit like watching paint dry, or watching the kettle while you're waiting for it to boil.

How do you know they don't watch TV or movies as much. Mind you if you had their money would you sit in in front of the box?

I guess it would be a bit boring watching them watching TV. Unless they were watching something really interesting. What if we were watching them, watching the people on their TV watching the people on their TV and so on?
