because it makes the answer look funnier because they are only giving thier view and someone didnt like it

yeah it makes me laugh when l think of all the wasted effort being put in to thumb down, especially as they dont mean a thing

What I don't get is when people thumbs down something completely mundane like "what is your favourite fruit?"
Some people thumbs down answers like lemons. I don't get it, are they afraid of lemons or what lol.
