Sometimes it does, but every once in a while I find the courage to take that first step. The road is long, but I will walk it.

Very seldom, anymore, Zen. I have heard that fear is a kind of grief. That something or certain things of our past can can paralyze us because fear is an expression of grief which we have not yet pin-pointed or recognized. Therefore it can manifest itself as unexplained fear. However, I am not fearless. To be so, is denying that we haven't control of everything in our lives. Danger, real danger can be lurking anywhere : possibly the man who appears out of nowhere and robs you, or violates you. Driving carelessly, so that the result is our death, or great harm received, etc.I employ caution in these situations, of course. WE ALL HAVE TO!
But that psychological fear that has no description, which my come from the trauma of previous or early experience, I have practiced to recognize as "old monsters" that I recreate, returned unexpectedly from the past. Those I confront to settle back into the remains of my imagination, no longer real, but ghosts of the past. Which
now with whatever courage I muster, I have practiced to face and eradicate.

I made my peace with fear during WW2. Now that I am older I do have certain fears, but they don't stop me in my tracks.

a lot too in many cases. I might desire to be effortless, i'm no longer that super of a risk taker anymore the two in my view and professionally. I incredibly have 2 teenagers to help and that makes me think of i can not purely pass away my interest to do something i in my view go with to do. i used to be a extensive risk taker and in my infants I did alot of issues and that i wasn't afraid to fail. Now although, I concern the threat of my teenagers risk-free practices if say I purely gave up my stable interest, stable pay and plunged into the existence of a Chef etc... i might particularly like that as i'm a real stable cook dinner yet I do pray on it, and if it particularly is meant for me, this is going to be. i think of nevertheless if i grow to be on my own and it grow to be purely me, i might do it and pray each and each of how by way of it whilst I did it. For now, i assume it particularly is concern and a splash effortless experience that now's no longer the time. possibly it particularly is purely being smart, and being a grown up. I do although, think of on those issues now and lower back.

the only way to handle fear is to face your fears, i am not saying to climb the tallest building and look over if you are terrified of heights but work up your nerve slowly until you reach the top, can you imagine what sort of accomplishment and confidence booster that can be.

Momentarily, then I cogitate the whole situation and take the appropriate measures. It helps that I'm professionally trained for crisis intervention,I'll admit to that. I wasn't born like this.
