The one causing the most death is the Sydney funnel web which by some estimates (probably exaggerated) caused a 30% death rate before the creation of the antivenom. Since the antivenom few if any deaths are reported. However the deaths are caused by the amount of venom injected. These spiders literally drip venom when aggitated. BTW this is considered one of the safest antivenoms in the world.

The most toxic venom is the black widow and its relatives. Luckily a much smaller amount is delivered. Only a very small drop, but it is enough to cause headaches, fevers, nausea, and other symptoms that can last for about three days. My sister got bit by one.

The wandering spider usually does not cause anything more than a fever for a few hours. However the death rate is higher than that of the black widow, probably due to the difference in amount of venom delivered. Though these do not deliver as much as funnel webs they still deliver far more than the black widow. Like the funnel webs they are also agressive.

It is not a Daddy Long Legs. That was disproved on MythBusters. I don't know what is but the Brown Recluse, Black Widow and Sydney Funnel Web Spider are up there.

I would say it's a toss-up between the black widow and the
brown recluse. The story about the daddy longlegs is just
a myth - no truth to it at all, which is good because there
are lots of them where I live. However, both the black widow
and brown recluse can make a person very sick or in some
cases they can be fatal.
