Hi One Love, yes, I am in San Diego, too. There is just no way this computer is going to Google Web today, or even Google.com, but it is doing Google Images OK. I wonder whats going on???

Mine is down, too. Where are you? I'm in San Diego.
6:30 pm-Still down. Searched "google down" and "google crash" but only got results from 2005. Dunno. Maybe a Cox thing? Doubt it. Found other q's about this today but don't know their locations. The "loser.com" solution offered in another answer did not work for me. This is a drag. I need to check my gmail account. Good luck!

First study SEO. You must plan your website or blog before you start it and so you know how to make it visible and hopefully come on the first page of google. It's a lot of work in order to actually be seen amongst the billions of webpages out there. There are many ways to be seen but first study. I used to be like that, never could find my pages until I found out the secret to being on google's first page and hopefully 1st spot. You need to learn about keywords first and then know how to pick a URL address or domain name then create your page. Fact is that google wants your page to look a certain way and have certain keywords in certain places along with othe little things to tweak your page. Then after you create website you can submit articles, socialbookmarking, backlinks etc. I happen to discover through several tools, books, and seo pro's that you really don't even have to do all of that. However you must know the formula that google robots and spiders like. I can't explain all here but you can msg me and I will send you info.

Yes. The Google is working fine Today (9/8/07), all day.

May be the cable was damaged from west coast to China?
There is a 6.6 earth quake. I thought they fixed it immediately.
