Why do you even bother answering this question if you think its so boring.
This is just a simple question; why are you getting so offended?

It's all a choice, just like left handedness and eye color.

Gays always like to SAY they were "born that way" so others won't condemn them. After all, it's hard to put someone down for something that's "not their fault"! I think it's a total cop-out though. I know TONS of gays, and almost ALL of them were homosexually molested as children, even as babies. How could they grow up NOT being affected by this? And yet, most will swear up and down that this had "nothing" to do with the fact that they just "happened" to turn out gay! Yeah, right. I just wish more of them would just TRY to be honest about it and admit that BECAUSE they were molested as children, their thoughts became twisted and they grew up to practice what they'd grown accustomed to, because same-sex sex is what is comfortable and familiar to them. Some gays weren't molested by same-sex members growing up, and may have turned that way for other reasons. I think very few, if any, can legitimately claim genetic reasons. For the most part, they are gay because they LIKE it, plain and simple!

People are born gay... why would people choose to be gay when they know there are idiots in the world like Viktor that harrass and show their hate by hiding behind a computer... Wonder how vocal he'd be if he was in public or came out of the closet himself.

People are born gay. Or bi or straight. It has nothing to do with choices. Who would choose to be gay in a society that treats people so negatively for it?

This question is becoming so boring & its with people like you who dont have any brains that keeps the interest going.Being gay is not a choice we make, would you choose to be harrased, taunted,& not have the same equal rights as everyone else. The stigma that comes with being gay is something i would not wish upon a worst friend, the sooner people realise that all we are after is equal-not more rights just like the hetrosexual community, that's all.People need to know that it is only going to effect them more & more as we go on as it is slowly but surely becoming easier to come out to family, friends.

No it is absolutely not a choice. A persons sexuality is in their genetic structure.
I'm gay and very proud to be. But lets just say for arguments sake if I wanted to choose to be straight, I wouldn't be able to. Because I look at women and I acknowledge they are pretty and beautiful, but there is no sexual attraction at all not even in the slightest.
But when I look at men not only do I acknowledge they are hansom, cute and gorgeous looking guys, I can tell that I am sexually attracted to them and turned on by them very much so.

Born gay. Ive been asked this question so many times. Ive also been asked "why dont you become straight" well...can straight people wake up one morning and say to themselves "ok...well today i think im gunna suck a dick or eat a fuzzy taco" doesnt work that way, we are born gay as you are born straight.

You cannot choose your sexual orientation.
But many straight people have unknowingly conditioned themselves to be attracted to people in gay relationships. Literature, movies, and the study of other cultures can give a person the idea that being homosexual is (for lack of a better word) hot.
For me it just happens to be yaoi/shounen-ai manga.

Why would anyone choose to be gay with all the persecution that goes with it? In some countries they still execute homosexual men. Why would you choose a life that exposed you to that sort of peril? You cannot choose who you fall in love with, that is part of you. Gay people are gay from birth.

Are heterosexual people born straight or is it a choice? It's the same for us.
