What do you think of hte name "aubin ellis?" Aubin is the french version of "alban" which I liked but didn't want people to mispronounce it and say "al"

I like Ellis but I'm not that crazy about Aubin. How about you look for something different. :) Maybe Adrian?

Ellis sounds like an old woman but Aubin is actually pretty cool.It isnt something a person could make fun of (not that anyone would) and it doesnt sound at all like "osama bin" or w/e that other person was talking about. Maybe make Aubin the middle name and then go for a first name then that has 3 sylables....like jeremy or joshua. and then just call him aubin. =D

I think it all depends on you, but it also matters if you or your boys father is french. Ellis is a great name and it works really well with Aubin,but it seems sorta foolish if he doesn't have french background. I also like alban and i don't think you should worry about people mispronouncing it, it happens to everyone, no matter what your name is someone can always find a way to screw it up. Congrats on a boy and not just naming him Nick or Kyle or Luke like everyone else does

I like Albin better. I do like the name Ellis Aubin though. Love the name Ellis.

If you are not French, from France or live in France then don't
do it.
And sorry I think they are all terrible names --Alban, Aubin and Ellis

Aubin? He's going to get Usama bin for the rest of his life! If he pronounces it the French way, he'll get "Oh bang" instead. He can't win.

FACT: people will call your baby things you don't want them to call him. Particularly in Middle School.
That said, name your kid whatever YOU like, make your preferences known to those around you, and then choose your battles wisely... 'cause you can't win 'em all!
