Hello everybody, today, when I went out to garden, I discovered that all my plants have these strange white-ish to light yellow GLOBS on my plants! They are all over my garden, and they look like little chicken eggs. They are hard. Does anybody know what this is? TIA

I was actually wrong in the first post, they are soft and gooey, and yes, they are on nearly EVERYTHING! (except the grass)

They vary from .5 cm wide to 2 cm wide...

I've never heard of anything like it. Maybe some sort of insect eggs. I wouldn't even know where to begin without more detailed information.

Can you post a pic?
Are they on everything?
How big are they?

I'm sorry, but I can't find anything even remotely similar to what you are describing. If there is any way you can post a picture then you might repost the whole question with the pic and see where we can go from there. Sorry I couldn't help.

Okay, I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that maybe it is spittle from spittle bugs. I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier. Here is an article that shows you the bug and they little egg shaped glob of spittle. Is this what you are seeing?
