My mum wants to find someone who lived in WW2 and gave me questions. If you know someone who lived then or if you did please answer them.

Not evacuated, but poor children usually went to families in the countryside where they were often treated as cheap labour. Rich children were sent to Canada or the USA.
Food was very basic - with very little meat, dairy produce or sweet stuff which was all rationed but plenty of vegetables and fruit except for anything that had to be imported like bananas. It was a much healthier diet than today's.
Air raids were pretty miserable while they lasted, most people had access to an air raid shelter but they were no protection against a direct hit.
Germany did not declare war on Britain, it was the other way around.
