my fiance has a baby with an ex gf of his. . and she HATES me. I'm naturally a nicer person that tries to work things out before walking away from them. @ first she'd always call me a whore and say stuff about me that wasn't even true. My fiance had his baby this weekend, and he had to work today, so I had to drop him off with his mom. When she met me there, she started yelling not to touch her kid, and that she'll get him out, and all this other stuff, in the parking lot. Instead of saying something rude/mean back to her, i let her get him out and i got back in my car and left. Now, later in the day my fiance seems to be in a weird mood & when i say i love him, after a while, he just says "you too" i told him its not the same but he won't say anything. Is what i did wrong? he said she called and was yelling non stop at him. . should i have acted differently? why won't he say he loves me anymore?

Your actions were very "Lady Like." She's the one with some unsettled issues with herself. Your fiancee' needs to put a handle on the situation and realize you are not the mother of the child and not to be taking whatever differences they may be having out on you. They were grown when they were procreating and now they need to be grown for the child's sake. Whatever they had in the past needs to stay there. IN THE PAST.
You just keep being Lady Like and things will work themselves out. They always do.

It sounds as if he is thinking about if he really wants his life to be this way. His child's mother and his wife at each other throats every time they see each other. You handled it well. Just maintain the high road and you will come out on top. However your fiance needs to have your back no matter what. Maintain your cool and he will see what a good step mom you will be, and maybe even mother. I'm sure he doesn't want kids with any more crazy women.

She's riding him, so he's withdrawn.
He's looking down the road to marriage
where his 'ex` is going to continue to
make trouble and maybe deny him
access to his kid in punishment for
choosing you over her. (That may
not be how it happened, but that's
how she sees it.)
At some point, he's going to have to
choose between you & his kid, and
you'd both better face up to it.
