I will not be installing insulation, its just storage or occasionally using a propane tank/stove.
It's my project that I was very eager to start when I bought my first house, and it's been going on for awhile now!
If I leave the walls open, I know I will get spiders/dust showing; I'd rather have a cleaner look to it. The location is northern california.

With all due respect there are no LAWS or strict standards if you Contract a job.

I charge between $25 and $40 per hour for my personal labor.

In your example You'd either accept the method for install, or dictate it, with regard to verticle or horizontal installation of sheets. Either way there will be waste, but you'll pay full sheet prices for the material. If you choose 4x10 you'll have cut and piece in the remaining foot on the 11' sides, as well as 2 ft waste to the 6 ft...although that waste can be used alternately in the other walls.

You also don't state FINISH,,, or a thought about TYPE of drywall for a shed. That will matter in any estimate for cost.

Again, with no offense meant, it's a "shed". Without knowing your rationale for drywalling it, perhaps you have aesthetic reasons?

Do you intend to insulate between studs? Are there studs? If it was my outbuilding I'd go with exterior PLY, even at 1/4 or 1/2 inch, and if need be, paint it.

In essence you're talking about a normal interior room size area, not counting the wall height,,,which brings up another questtion,,,what of the ceiling? I'd probably bid the job in a $250 to $400 range; Plus materials.

I wouldn't put drywall up in a shed. It'll get wet & moldy.

get some white peg board from the home store, nail it up yourself lightly and install hooks for shelves and storage and dont worry about spiders or webs and whatnot - its a shed
