Absolutely! I have had mild allergies all of my life; however, as I have aged, my allergies have become horrible and multiple! In fact, I have had anaphalactic shock three times...twice from medication from the doctor and once from...we have no clue! That is one scary feeling when your throat swells shut!

So, yes, it is very true in my case and is dangerous, in my case as well!

As I get older, I find that some foods bother me that never did before, but I'm not allergic to anything that I know of. I use dish soap that is clear and added bleach. Seems to do the trick for me without complications.

Oh Yeah. Not to mention being able to eat anything I wanted and as soon my late 40's I can't eat a lot of foods. Preservatives in food get to be a pain and foods with a high fat content. Now I know why old people eat they way they do! Their stomachs can't take it. Allergies to a lot of things. All I've got to say is getting old sucks.

Oh yeah, I have always had allergies but now they seem to be worse, I don't go out the door without a kleenex and have had to pull over to the side of the road from sneezing fits--bad junk!!

I've heard your body changes every seven years or so. I could eat eggs when I was little, then i developed an allergy to them for a few years, and now i'm over it. Wierd huh?

I never had any known allergies until about four years ago when I started developing so-called "seasonal allergies." I am 61 now.

I am fortunate, I have no known allergies.

Red Cross insists I rake allergy medication with me everytime I am deployed though, I am clueless as to the reason for it
