I think you may be referring to the AFA's boycott of Wal-Mart last Thanksgiving.

They said that Wal Mart supports homosexuals by giving large amounts of money to The Washington DC Center for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender People.

Although it is true that Wal Mart donates a small amount of purchases made through the Washington Center's website, the truth is that as of November 2006 there has only been one purchase made through the site and the amount that Wal Mart donated was $4.17.

At one time Walmart said that they were going to make a large donation to gay businesses but there was a groundswell boycott by the religious right and Walmart backed down very quickly realizing that they were about to lose a massive market share to please less than 10% of the population.

I'm sure they do. WalMart is a business. Why would they care about what the sexual orientation is of the people they do business with?

That is so funny!

WalMart ran most of their American suppliers into bankruptcy years ago!

They now support child labor and environmental pollution, all at low, low prices, in Asia.

Wow, the homophobes are hot tonight!
