Wow, my son just told me that Danny, the Tourettes Guy, has died from injuries received in an auto accident.

In a nutshell, you're watching a drunken guy's antics at his home and in public which he video'd between drinks and decided to make a catchy name, Tourettesguy--and that's how the videos were born. (which he subsequently commercialized) More detail below if you care to read it: Tourettesguy's actions are not due to Tourette Syndrome at any rate. Yes, he was diagnosed with Tourette at some point, but his tics are MILD. His behavior displayed on the videos is not at all tic-like--tics in Tourette Syndrome are sudden, brief bursts of movement or sound. The extensive, entirely intentional vulgar behavior he displays on the videos are not tics. Although swearing can be a tic, these tics are not in context with the surroundings or conversation of the individual. (and usually is quite embarassing for the person affected) I know about Tourette and its characteristics because I have a severe form of it and have researched it extensively. So you can believe what I say on this. Tourettesguy has nothing to do with real experiences associated with Tourette syndrome. It's not funny to me that he implies his swearing is part of his Tourette's. It's not. It's his personality and drinking.
