That sucks. Which hepatitis is it though?
I'm not sure what the different effects of them are but I know there is at least 2 of them:
Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. There might be an A also, but I'm not sure.
I'm sorry your friend is going through a heavy rough patch right now.
Your best bet is to look both of those up on the internet. You're sitting right there so search through google or yahoo.

depending on whether it is hepatitis A, B, or C your health may be in danger. Hep C can be passed on simply by touching something thathe has touched while sweating. I suggest that you contact your doctor and get the hepatitis vacccine given to you to prevent infection if you plan to continue the relationship.

First of all, you need to support your friend. You shouldn't care how he got it. What you need to know is that you should avoid contact with his blood. There are 3 different types of hepatitis. Try to find more about that on google, adn talk to your roommate, aks him all you need to know.

is a common illness that either its inherity or contacted thru close contact.
avoid sharing personal items like shaver, towels or anything that has personal contact? and defintely no intmate contact if you know what I mean?

He probably had some feces on his member and touched it while urinating and then picked up a piece of fruit and ate it. Or he may have blown another guy who had feces on his member from a prior bumhulio incident with an infected person.
