I need it for a school project and can't seem to find any decent information anywhere. Also, if anyone might know where I could find information about transportation and available energy sources in India, it'd be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

it is not clear when you say school project -what level ?
rural population: approx. us$ 1:00 per day
urban population labourers: approx. us$ 3:00 per day(generally 2 earning members per family)
urban office workers:approx. us$ 5:00 per day
transport: approx. us$ 21:00 per month
accommodation: if ancestral or family owned -nil,or around approx. us$ 1:00 per day.
energy bill:approx. us$ 6:00 per month.
there nothing official or authentic or official about the above information, just surmise and my perception.
at the other end of the spectrum sky is the limit.
