But, I think all violations should be checked for legitimacy. If it is a false report, then the reporter should be charged 10 points. Otherwise, I dont think you should lose any points for reporting.

Yes you should lose a point or two, if you reported something that didn't need reported. but if you do report something that needs to be reported then you should Gain a point.
(whats up with a half? yahoo don't use half points)

No way - why should we lose something for doing the right thing?
The reporter shouldn't lose a thing. The reported, well, they'll never change. Best to get rid of them.

i disagree. there are some things on here that need to be taken off. people should not be penalizaed for being good users on here.
