A very thin line for some people. But passion doesn't necessarily have to be about sex. You can be passionate about anything and you will do anything to pursue that passion. Lust sounds like a pulsating, overwhelming, and uncontrollable feeling of being with someone in any way shape or form. I guess it depends on how you feel that day. Are you in control or are you going to be impulsive and see what happens.

Passion doesn't need to involve women.
I have a passion for football. If I had a lust for it, that would be disgusting.

they are completely opposite. lust is thinking primarily of your own hunger.
Passion is thinking of completely satisfying the other.
